CBR welcomes proposals for support from researchers. We are especially keen to support multi-centre studies leading to evidence-based improvements in clinical care. We are an independent non-governmental organisation, meaning that we have no obligatory role but we are available to provide practical help as needed.
We can offer PAGED research support along the following lines:
P- Publicity and Promotion Through our network of contacts at paediatric neurology centres, newsletters to BPNA members, our website, conference stands and flyers
A – Administrative support Guidance and hands-on preparation of grant funding and governance applications
G – Grant giving Funds available for seed-funding of pilot studies
E – Expert panel For help in developing ideas, statistical advice and scientific/clinical direction
D – Data collection Active chase up of study related data from clinicians
Researchers with plans at any stage are asked to complete our Research Proposal form that will be put to our Research Support Panel for consideration at the earliest opportunity.
